The Oregon Humane Society is expecting to receive a huge donation from the third and fourth graders of Duniway Elementary School tomorrow...Valentine's Day.
This is the fifth year in a row that Duniway students have brought gifts of food and toys to OHS on Valentine’s Day. Last year the gifts weighed over 2,000 lbs. Wow!
“We are so honored that Duniway Elementary School chooses OHS every year for this food and toy drive,” said Carol Shiveley OHS Education Manager. “It is touching to see how much effort they put into helping the animals and how much pride they have with the results.”
Kids helping animals...It doesn't get much sweeter than that!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
